The 6 Conditions of Repentance

1. The repentance should be sincere to seek Allah's favour.


2. Regret over the sins.


3. Instant desist from the sin. Repentance is not accepted with constant revert to the same sin.


4. Strong determination not to go back to the sin in the future.


5. The repentance should be made before sun rise, sun set and before the final day (before death).



6. If the sins was money related, return the money to the owners. If it was backbiting, slandering etc, pray for them without them knowing, speak good of them where you spoke ill of them.
