Mine lasts 2 years depends on how you use it. I don't borrow anyone and I keep it out of reach 4 my younger ones especially boys.

I don't even use ear phones. My first Nokia Asha 200 earphone is still lying neatly in that pack I bought the phone with.

Infact, the largest phone accessory i have is Earphone.

Mine lasts 3 weeks, a month at best. The last one I used almost made me commit suicide. Just within a week of purchase and the modafucking earpiece was already misbehaving like Niger Delta Avengers.
How do you people spoil it?

I am always amazed when my siblings say their earpiece is spoilt. My phone is a year+, I still use the earpiece it came with. I even had the earpiece of my previous phone, gave it to my bro and in less than 2mths he said it got spoilt.

What do you guys do to it biko?

I used a Sony Xperia ear phone when I bought my last Sony phone, it served me well for a year and half before i forgot it in a long distance travel.
I recently bought another phone and I'm on it for 4months now. Still rocking it.
By the way I'm a meticulous person.

I do buy the ones on the street and they last as long as girls remove them from my neck they start fighting over it, then it cuts or some of my pals..walks over and say "hey white can I use your earpiece" I give them, just know ain't returning it...!!! undecided

it's better to buy a good one that will last for years than buying inferior ones every other week. Back then I'll not buy less than 1k and it will last just few months. [size=14pt]The beats solo2, beats studio and bose quiet comfort i[/size] bought will last till i don't need them again.
More so, the sound quality of those headsets are superb and no matter how loud you play l, the bass will not go into your eardrums.

Note: those cheap headsets will damage your eardrums with time because of improper impedance matching.

Most of us usually start caring about these headphones once it starts acting funny.....if the left or right ear malfunctions then we suddenly start caring for it and then it's already too late. Once boys hear an earpiece is an original or carry come they start using it carelessly thinking it can withstand the tangle and twist they put it through. I can't do anything with joy unless i have an earpiece blasting my favorite tune while i work....i even sleep with it still stuck to ma ears.
