One intrepid fan spotted going to extraordinary lengths to watch this afternoon's game between Stoke and Manchester City has become an instant hero on Twitter.
Rather than fork out the price of a ticket inside the newly named Bet365 Stadium, the man decided to take advantage of the fact Stoke's home ground is open in two corners and took up his seat half way up a tree outside the stadium.
