Hi guys my laptop anytime i turn it on shows me one white screen with some "vertical single blocks" And I have to press the power button a number of times before it normalizmise and switches on correctly but if it's plugged in with the charger it switches on normally,how can I correct this?

My windows 11 laptop often highlights texts when I move the cursor (without me pressing the left touch pad button). Please help.

Please perform on your machine a windows update, install everything, then restart the machine.

You may also uninstall the Touchpad / install back

Open Control Panel click on Administrative tools, open Computer Management.
Click on Device Manger, Search the Touchpad .
Then do a right click on the Touchpad, click on uninstall.
After it finishes, restart the machine.

I would prefer the new one, but if you have a clean used one then it is OK too

You are welcome and its nice to know the issue was fixed. I have not worked on the keyboard lighting issue before but i was able to get this online but from the reviews, it didn't work for everyone that had similar issues but its fine to give a try

1. Go to System Preferences>Keyboard
2. Uncheck "Use F1, F2, etc... keys as standard function keys"
3. Uncheck "Automatically illuminate keyboard in low light"
3. Try F5/F6 keys again

Since you just got it from the guy, the best thing to do is install a new operating system, drive it and install back the necessary applications you need.

I'm yet to update my windows/drivers though.
For the virus part, I have window antivirus and always scan my system. So far no virus has been detected.
