How Lagos State Plan To Beef Up Security With 13,000 CCTV Cameras by naijanewsmag: 9:00pm On Aug 28, 2016
Lagos state government is commencing installation of 13,000 Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras across the state.

The announcement was made during the commencement of construction of a flyover bridge in the popular Pen Cinema junction of the state.
Steve Ayorinde, the Lagos State commissioner for information and strategy, during a press briefing said the government is also putting up an addition 6,000 street lights and security sensors for surveillance and crime prevention across the state from October 2016.

Ayorinde said the government is also set to decongest traffic along the Lekki-Epe expressway by removing three roundabouts: 4th Roundabout (Elegushi), 5th Roundabout (Jakande) and 8th Roundabout (VGC).
