Plantain chips is a very popular nigerian food sold everywhere around the country, today we will discuss how to make your own plantain chips at home.

INGRIDIENTS
1. Raw Plantain
2. Salt
3.Water
4. Vegetable Oil.
PROCEEDURE
1. Peel off the green skin of the plantain using a knife.
2. Cut it out using your knife into round or oval slices.
3. Soak it in a bowl and add 1 tea spoonfull of salt and 3 cups of water for at least 15 minutes.
4. Drain the water after 15 or more minutes.
5. Heat your vegetable oil on a frying pan till it gets hot.
6. Drop the plantains into the heated oil and fry till you get a tough yellow plantain chips.
