​There is anxiety that the Federal Government of Nigeria in partnership with Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Africa’s richest man and business tycoon are flooding Nigerian market with imported Genetic Modified rice-GMO.
According to Ahmed Madaki who posted the news using his twitter handle @agjm075, federal government and Dangote have already imported sizeable quantity of this rice into Nigerian market. In Europe, GMO food are banned, he noted.
He stated further saying “please note that GMO rice is as worst as eating rice laced with rat poison, popularly known as sniper in Nigeria”Foods whose genetic components have been modified are extremely dangerous to human body
