D person pays d premium faithfully so dt in event of loss or damage 2 dt property, he is reimbursed nt wt d current Worth of dt property bt its cost @ d tym of insurance (I tnk lyf assurance is an xcptn 2 ds). Note dt loss or damage 2 dt property during d event of premium default by d insured leads 2 non reimbursement by d insurer irrespective of prior payments. So basically d insurer is betting dt loss or damage wldnt happen 2 D property & is getting paid 4 it while D insured is supposed 2 protect his property 4rm loss or damage (which is also guarding d insurer's interest) & paying 4 somtn dt has lesser odds of occurrence (eg out d millions of cars dt r currently plying d road in Nigerians, I'm sure nt up 100k r involved in mishaps lyk theft, accidents & so on annually. Wt dt means is d insured is paying in d eventuality dt an event dt has a 1/10 chance occurs meanwhile d insurer is raking in money because 9 out of ten tyms, he's ryt. I'm nt a professional gambler o! I just do it 4 fun nt 4 d purpose of Making money. Bt I hv certain rules abt my involvement in it.
1. Time: when I'm in skul, I dnt do it because I'm busy bt when I'm @ home & bored, I do.
2. Money involved: nothing above 1k. Wt I basically do is bet money I spend on trivialities lyk LA casera, credit, biscuit & try 2 win money 2 pay 4 things lyk data. So if I lose it, it ain't no biggy.
3. Limit: I keep a mental note on d net amnt I put in2 it & hw much I get outta it. 1ce it surpasses 1k-2k in d red, I'm out.
BTW, is dere a way I can reach u? I lyk d way u write & u seem interesting.
