Earphone jacks appear like something sacred on our mobile phones. Apple executive Phil Schiller discussed why Apple chose to make its iPhone 7 smart device without the familiar earphone jack at the top.

The senior vice president of world marketing at Apple stated that "courage to carry on" was among those factors, as Apple engineers chose they could take innovation forward if they remove the old analog audio port.

Apple also saw that it might utilize the digital audio function of the lightning adapter (which you use to charge the mobile phone) to provide much better quality.

However, Schiller also stated that Apple engineers saw that area was at a premium inside the gadget, with 2 cams and other high-end innovation vying for space inside the packed enclosure. There was no space left for an old port that uses up a great deal of space.

Finally, Apple presented its AirPods, which are cordless earphones that use up a lot less space and do not have wires that get all tangled up.

"We have a vision for how audio needs to work on mobile phones, wireless," He said.

And for those who do not want to relocate to the brand-new devices, you can utilize an adapter that plugs in an old earphone into the lightning connector.
