Cristiano Ronaldo blasted Barcelona legend Xavi Hernandez after the former Barcelona player said the Real Madrid/Portugal star was unlucky to be playing in the same generation as Lionel Messi. Speaking to Spanish radio station Cadena Ser earlier in the week, Xavi had said: “Ronaldo is a player of his time. My point is, CR7 didn't need to make the silly comparison of who's got the most BD'O between them both, that Xavi is also one of footballs greats haven paid his dues and shouldn't be treated lightly in footballs world. Winning the world cup was only a pointer to that fact And i'm a huge fan of Ronaldo, he's my favorite. |
