I just don't understand these phone manufacturers anymore, they are no longer interested in listening to comments from users but always bent on forcing their own way.

I know that many complained when Samsung went with inbuilt non user-replaceable battery starting from Samsung Galaxy S6 but same still happened with the release of Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Samsung Galaxy S7 and finally the Samsung Galaxy Note 7.

I know many that preferred to stay with the older Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and not buy the newer Samsung Galaxy Note 5 just because of lack of replaceable battery and expandable storage but now we've all heard about Samsung recent flagship; galaxy note 7 catching fire especially during or after charging it thereby causing many to label what should be the dire of many a tickling time bomb.

From the a findings of the cause of the manufacturing fault, the battery was found to be the culprit which was not even manufactured by Samsung but contracted to a third party. I watched a video on YouTube where it was confirmed that the battery is the culprit of the random fire.

In summary, many major airlines around the world have banned the device in airports and onboard planes for safety purpose. Samsung finally recalled the sold 2.5 million Samsung Galaxy Note 7s stating that consumer safety is their priority. Imagine the popularity of 2.5 million devices sold within days of release but it turns out to be negative popularity or notoriousity afterall. Hours after the announcement, Samsung shares fall to the lowest since 2012 losing a couple billion of US dollars, that's pathetic.

The question now is; what if Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has user replaceable battery? If that's the case then maybe only the batteries would have to be recalled and replaced by Samsung which would be far cheaper and faster for them to replace. I pray Samsung comes back in a bigger way but needs to be more careful next time.

Leave all these unnecessary story. Who removable battery help?

Nowadays we use power banks which is far more useful than having an extra battery

And I use a Samsung phone with a removable battery and I haven't even opened it this year.

So tell me the use of a removable battery?
