And, don't forget Timbuktu university Mali. This university along with Fez university Morroco and Al-azar university Egypt, predates all European universities and any other in the world.

Indeed, Europeans and Asians studied in Africa and they said so. Pythagogas a Greek Mathematician wrote that he studied Maths in Africa along with many other Greek intellectualls of old.

The article is not well researched. I didn't expect to find any Ghanaian or Nigerian university on the list. There are more older universities in Africa to push UI or UniGhana beyond the first ten. What of Uni of Pretoria and Uni of Fort Hare (both in S/A). I'm sure there are many others.
