JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: SALES EXECUTIVE / ASSISTANT MANAGER

REPORTS: SALES MANAGER

LOCATION: ABUJA & LAGOS

PRODUCTS: LUXURY GOODS

SUMMARY OF JOB: Deliver outstanding service to customers, selling company products to achieve set target.

1. Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients with excellent product knowledge to achieve a sales target.

2. Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.

3. Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.

4. Submit particulars and details of all major customers to the Head Office monthly.

5. Report on competitor’s activities in the market.

6. Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.

7. Establish, maintain and follow up on current client and potential client relationships.

8. Development of new accounts.

9. Identify and resolve client concerns.

10. Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up and adherence to goals.

11. Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information or feedback gathered through filed activity to branch manager.

12. Participate in marketing events such as seminars and other office programmes.

13. Follow-up for collection of payment and any debts.

14. Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock.

15. Prepare presentation and proposals.

16. Develop and maintain current product knowledge.


17. Any other assigned duties.
