The scales are tipping in the English Premier League Team are shifting positions fast, both at the top and the bottom, and the only man who seems certain of what the future holds seems to be Pep Guardiola.

The weekend promises to treat us to some exciting and nail-biting exchanges, if the fixtures are anything to go by. Less than 10 matches, and the season is already living to the hype, and keeping us on the edge of our seats.

Jose to silence ‘Football Einsteins?’
Under-fire Jose Mourinho and his captain Wayne Rooney lead out an off colour Red Devils side, in an attempt to get their campaign back on track. What started like a promising season is slowly degenerating into a disaster of sorts. Jose has already hit out at ‘football Einstein’ for their massive criticism, and will want to silence them with a win over Leicester at home. It certainly shall be the toughest test, and despite tasting victory over the Foxes in the season-opening Community Shield, this will be an entirely different ball game.
Wayne Rooney has been out of all sorts for United, and could start from the bench, with Marcus Rashford and Zlatan Ibrahimovic likely to lead the United assault.
Leicester had a terrible start with some massive defeats, including a 4-1 soaking in the hands of Liverpool, and will be cautious to avoid any mistakes in the afternoon. Leicester know that United are under pressure, and will be keen to go for another smash and grab, in what promises to be a humdinger!

Who rules London?
The London derby pitting Chelsea up against Arsenal is another of the afternoon’s most exciting clashes.
It’s five years since Arsenal beat Chelsea, and since then the Gunners are yet to win over the Blues. Diego Costa has been Arsenal’s tormentor-in-chief and will be keen to breach the Arsenal defense.Arsene Wenger – who recently celebrated two decades in charge – has won just six of 26 games against Chelsea. The Blues, have won 13 of those.
This encounter goes beyond the London bragging rights. Antonio Conte will be cautious with his decisions, to ensure he amends the mistakes committed against Swansea and Liverpool. Arsene Wenger has a fit squad, and will have a plethora of attackers to select from, and find the best combination to breach the Chelsea defense.
Antonio Conte and Arsene Wenger will be keen to take maximum points, and avoid letting Manchester City from taking a superior advantage.

Despite slaying Arsenal, Chelsea and Leicester, doubts still hang on Liverpool’s title prowess. The Kop’s greatest asset has been in attack, with the trio of Firmino, Mane and Coutinho notching home at will.
Jurgen Klopp and his men have however, not shown the same intensity while playing with the minnows. They face a tricky Hull City, and this will be exciting to watch.

Pep out for Perfection
Manchester City is out for perfection, and with a trip away to Swansea, we can just wait and see what Pep has to offer in this one.
Swansea frustrated Chelsea to a draw, and will want to do the business again over City.
City has the potential to win this one, considering the immense quality in the side. City not only has the chance to go to 18 points, but also a chance to instill more fear in its opponents.

Hammers seeking redemption
West Ham is desperate to get things going, and after a promising run last season, the centre cannot hold anymore, and things are falling apart for the Hammers. As they welcome the Saints, the Hammers are desperate to get the ball rolling, six matches into the new season. Defensively, they have been weak, and will be keen to seal the holes at the back, and ride to a comfortable victory.

Spurs Test
Vincent Jansen is the man to do the business for Tottenham, in what looks like a massive task to shoulder. Harry Kane is out injured, and with manager Mauricio Pochettino electing to sign just one striker, he could come under sharp criticism on the weekend, should his side go down.
This is certainly a big test for Spurs, and a victory is important here, if they are to convince us of their title potential this season.

Acid Test for Moyes, Hughes
Sunderland has recorded 4 defeats and 1 draw so far, and the search for victory wears on. Jermaine Defoe has been finding the goals for the Black Cats, and as they host Crystal Palace, David Moyes hopes that there can be a better and collective team effort to guide them to a maiden victory this season. It certainly proves to be a tough assignment, against Palace who have found rhythm, and are scoring convincingly.

Stoke share Sunderland’s predicaments, and Mark Hughes, like Moyes, is under pressure. West Brom visit the Potteries on Saturday, with former Stoke boss Tony Pulis, looking to stun his former employers. After a considerable splash in the transfer window, Stoke has had no return on investment just yet, with a single point all they have to show for it. There is no margin of error, and should Stoke fail to win, Mark Hughes could be on his way out.
