How Do I Close Down My Bank Account With A Nigerian Bank by CuteTj(m): 11:11pm On Sep 23, 2016
Ever since opening a corporate account with Diamond Bank like 2 - 3 weeks ago, I have been frustrated by them as the account has been marked "No debit" thus I have not been able to withdraw but can only deposit.

The excuse I was given was maybe the Board Resolution was not detailed enough and I have written a comprehensive one again since Monday this week (corporate search @ CAC was successful) but up till now the issue has not been resolved.

This issue has slowed down my business as its my working capital that is trapped and I have already lost revenue due to this.

I would like to know the procedure on how to close down a bank account with Nigerian banks. Kindly drop a comment if you have attempted shutting down a bank account in Nigeria.
