This is unprofessional, the guys these cooperate organizations are employing to manage their social media these days needs a lot of learning to do. Nothing wrong with interacting with clients on current issues but They should be sensitive to clients/prospects feeling and ensure nobody's affected negatively, it's part of customer care.

Banter has come to stay. Corporate organizations all over the world now engage in it one way or the other either on social media or in adverts. It is a way to bond with and get closer to their customers (and generate publicity of course). Go on twitter and Facebook and you'll see huge MNC's engaging in banter and poking a bit of fun. It doesn't really have any negative side effect. Nobody is going to close a bank account over that tweet.

I insist it is unprofessional and I'm a Man United fan...What bonding? Football fans that kill themselves over games or do crazy things just because they lost a game, what does it take them to close an account? Is access bank the only bank? The better way to leverage this kind of thing is to console the Chelsea fans, not mock them.
