3. Learn a trade: it’s good to stay focus on campus, but you can’t be one way direction and expect something special, you can combine learning trades even during your stay in school learn Fashion designing, Saloon work, Catering, Event Planner etc..

4. Exposition: you see many students, they only know the course they are studying, ask them something outside their course they will be looking at you. Who knows when opportunity will come, learn far than what you are studying, you are studying Banking and Finance learn something about Animal Health; opportunity = preparation + favor, you need to prepare by reading wide, use google, read books.

5. Be computer literate: learn computer and internet, these days all activities are mostly done on web. It is far more than using Facebook, Microsoft word etc .Wise up this is 21st Century, learn things like graphic design, web designing, blogging, online transaction etc.

6. Work in industries related in the course you are studying during your holidays: spend your holidays wisely, look for industries and firms related to your course, beg them to work with them you can even work for free; you are not stupid doing that you are gaining experience.

7. Graduate with good grades: this is also important, you need to work to have good grades. Good grades attracts employers to give you jobs. It also creates an edge advantage over other job seekers.

8. Start small scale business: even during your stay on campus, involve yourselves in small business, don’t be carried away with the profit, go for the knowledge. It will teach you 4 things:

· How to spend

· How to save

· How to invest

· How to borrow

9. Get yourself a mentor: look for a notable person in your field, learn from him/her and ask questions about how he made his/her way up in his/her career.

10. Get a specific Brand: let me explain this, if you hear the name Dangote what comes to your mind – Businessman, Linda- blogger, Messi- footballer. You should have what people know you for, this will not only provide jobs but make you job provider.

11. Determine and develop your Talent: you have something you are good at, develop it and create passion for it; it will create opportunity for you.

12. Be friendly with people: you don’t know who can help you in life, please keep your pride and relate with people whether young or old, rich or poor. You don’t need a sentiment life, accept people the way they are.

13. Connect with people at the top: learn to look upward, connect with people at the top, move with future oriented people.

14. Tell the world what you are endowed with: don’t keep your knowledge to yourself, help people with the little you have. It provides bigger task with bigger knowledge.

Employers expect college graduates to have work experience, ideally in their major/career field. Even if you have some previous work experience, use the first half of your senior year to gain experience — track down internships, part-time work, and/or volunteering opportunities. dissertation writing help The more experience you have, the better you’ll understand what you want — and the more attractive you’ll be to employers.
