This article would help you create a website from scratch without stress. This would be divided into three steps, the first step is choosing a platform to host your website, then getting your domain and finally properly setting up your website to meet your desired looks.

Choosing your website platform: Before you start thinking about colour schemes, domain names and all, you would need to decide what platform you’re going to build your website on. You are going to need a content management system to build and managing your website and online content, instead of you having to go through the stress of using a bunch of loose HTML pages. Popular platforms to build your domain on are WordPress, Blogger, Drupal, Joomla and lots more.
There are many issues involved in finding a good web host but before choosing a platform you would need to look into areas like, FTP, File type and size limitations, reliability and speed, PHP, bandwidth allotment, advertising and lots more.

Getting your domain name: After you have successfully decided on the web platform you would be building your website on, the next step for you is to decide on your domain name. You would need to do this before anything else. Your chosen domain name is the name you want for your website for example, the domain name of the popular social media is ‘www.facebook.com’ and the website name is Facebook. So you would need to get a unique domain name that would make your business stand out from others and also speaks a bit about your niche. To get your domain name, you will have to pay an annual fee to an online registrar (Like Godaddy or Bluehost) for the right and access to use the chosen name. Having your domain name registered does not get your website ready or anything like that. This is just a name which you would need to connect with content management system for it to work fully and be accessible.

Setting up your website: Once you have fully settled your domain name and web hosting platform and fully connected/parked the two, the next obvious step to take is to design your new web site itself. Most content management platforms like blogger and wordpress already have readymade templates which you can simply select and edit the colours to your taste. Though if you wish you can edit a template in an XML file format using apps like Dreamweaver CS6 on your desktop. You can also hire a web designer and webmaster to help you setup other technical aspects of your website. If you are planning on designing a sport website for example and you are having issues getting a default template of designing it you can easily download free or paid template on website that offers such services. You would also need to install various SEO tools or scripts on your website so as to increase the search engine page rank of your website.
And after all this is done you are set to start sharing your contents with the world.
