I support Hillary and loathe Trump but only those in liberal bubble would argue she won the first presidential debate. Politics is about selling a message and a vision and for better or worse, lies and all. Trump knows how to do this.

Hillary Clinton on the other hand, present nothing except vagaries. How is she going to improve economic inequality? Helping the middle class blah blah Education blah blah blah, making the rich pay their fair share. It's unfocused and seemingly without real conviction, whereas Trump comes across as a passionate advocate for change. Does she really think voters check facts? Does she really think an election is decided on comparing resumes? No, it's about stirring up emotions, which Trump understand.

What's more, by trying to attack Trump at the debate she actually looked pathetic, as all of her zingers were so obviously memorized. Even a deplorable could see that, and by waging into the mudslinging, she lowered herself to his level, somehow making it appears he was talking the high road.

I am not a Bernie Sanders fan but I understand why his supporters were so passionate. like Trump his is always on topic, blasting passionate message. She's not going the bad guys, she's not fighting to help all those Americans who fell like they are getting screwed. She's not a crusader, but instead comes across as just a boring office-seeker, and that's why she's on the edge of loosing this election.

She's the antithesis of. Elizabeth Warren in that even her supporters have to wonder what she actually stand for. She'd make a decent, not terrible president, but in public performance she appears to nothing whatsoever to sell other than the same old message. Politics is a salesmanship, find a message and sell it.

Yes she won the debate if you are a debate judge, but political debates are aimed at the average voter, not an objective observer. Did Dukakis beat Reagan? For sure, but not in the public eye. Did George W Bush even win a debate? The public thought so.

My point is that winning a debate means winning over the electorate, not the CNN, New York Times, Guardian. A simplistic impassioned message count for a lot more than mastery of facts. Why do you think Bernie Sanders was so popular? Clinton because she only appeased to the folks who already support her, not the discontents who are ready to vote for Gary Johnson or Trump.

She didn't offer a vision, she didn't lead the parade. The proof will be in the polls and sadly Trump might eventually win the election.

Bob Barnes is a joke.

Only a deluded US citizen will think Trump said anything new during the debate.

I can't recall him answering any questions coherently.

In the debate alone, Trump lied or mis-stated facts 34 times.

Clinton 4 times.

Analysis of his speeches before the debate shows he lies every 3min 15 seconds

After the debate live on fox news, he claimed he won CBS debate poll and CBS denied ever doing any post debate polls.

In Cclinton's words, Trump is living in his own reality.
