Illegal Disconnection Of Power Supply By Ibedc. by jamaljay55(m): 6:53pm On Sep 29, 2016
The Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company Plc, illegally disconnect our community power supply on the 27th of september, 2016.Time 5:58pm in the evening. Our community Ola-oluwa community development which located at Gasline, Ijoko road, Sango ota ,Ogun state.
This is how it all started......
Last month the IBEDC body gave us a bill of #8,000 to #10,000 per month, which is not suppose to be because our electricity supply is not stable.Sometime
s for a week there is no power supply. So our community body went to the Nepa that we cannot accept the bill given to us due to the instability of our power supply, so the Nepa and our community committee agreed on a bill of #2,000 per month. So the Nepa body came today which is on the 27th of this month and i think the community committee had some mis-understanding with them and they brought three fully armed soldiers with them and disconnected our light from the high tension, and lead to the total break down of our transformer. This transformer was funded by each house in our community before it was bought. Our community leaders are going to logde their complaint at Sango ota police station tommorrow.
We beg the government of our state and country to tamper justice with mercy on us because we are being cheated by the NEPA.
We want the government to investigate this matter and bring any culprit behind this to book.
