I wish to seek for candid advise from the well informed and good Nairaland families. Which is a better investment to make. Going into filling station with a view to growing it to span the 36 states of the federation in the future or to invest in buildings with the aim of renting out (residential) also with a future aim of expanding it to major cities of the country as time progresses.

Thanks for anticipated insightful advice.

Having filling stations is more profitable (depending on location and PR) but requires more capital to start and operate. You'll also need a proper management to succeed in it. But building residential houses is less stressful and you'll only need a reputable agent to put in charge, carry out periodic maintenance to have good returns on investment.
