I have no idea how chemistry can relate to matter... That's a dumb judgement.

For me, chemistry is different. Chemistry is a research activity, such as the study of the chemical properties of various components and materials. And it is difficult to imagine it with matter. May be it may exist in a variant of analytical chemistry and it is very difficult to speak about it yet. It is more interesting to be engaged in research of course.
