Lyon top the table with 6 points, while Liverpool have 3 points after their loss to Fiorentina.

Liverpool are in questionable form presently. They've had back-to-back losses in the EPL against Chelsea and Sunderland, and adding Fiorentina to the list, one wonders if Rafa hasn't lost the plot.
With Fernando Torres and Stevie Gerrard still injured, Rafa Benitez has got to come up with some new tricks to ensure Liverpool get past the group stages of the UCL. Available strikers include Andriy Voronin, David Ngog and Dirk Kuyt.
The major issue now will be the midfield selection. The perfect combination(permit me to use that) has got to be discovered and used for the team to be any threat at all to in-form Lyon. Mascherano, Aquilani, Ryan Babel, Benayoun, Lucas and Riera will vie for starting spots on the night.
Mascherano, Babel, Benayoun and Lucas seem likely.
Defensively, Reina and his men really need to quit being so porous and keep things tight. Let's hope there are no beach balls bouncing around on the night.

Lyon currently top the French Ligue 1 table, though they suffered their first defeat of the season on Saturday. The team has been very strong so far, and they were the better side on Saturday despite the loss.
In attack, Lisandro Lopez and Gomis are names to look out for. Cissokho is another player to be wary of, as he is a fine attacking full-back.
Lyon may have problems at the back though, as the Cris-Bodmer partnership isn't really gelling and Jean-Alain remains injured. Goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is very reliable however, so Lyon should be able to cope. Especially with the unlikeliness of Torres and Gerrard featuring.
