Not many people know that Jumia also boasts of a travel platform formerly called Jovago. Unlike Wakanow that provides a one-stop shop for travelers, Jumia Travel deals exclusively in hotel booking for customers. So, if you need a flight, holiday packages or visa services, you may have to look elsewhere.

This is another major travel company that does everything travel – from hotels to flights as well as ground transport. An idea which was birthed in 1999 by Swedish entrepreneur Stephen Erkberg, Travelstart is one of the major online travel companies in Nigeria.

Owners of this company may be one of the newest online travel companies on the block, but what you can’t take away from them is their resolve to always provide better services for their customers. While it might be too early to judge their commitment to this promise, their approach and service so far give them away as one of the major OTAs to watch out for. How soon could that be? Only time will tell.
