Most pipo die like that, with their mouth open, and in some cases even their eyes (ever seen a gun shot casualty or a person dead from heart attack?). But many are lucky to have their mouth and eyes held shut by the relatives or medical attendants present while dying. However, if the person died without the presence of any minders, it would have to take a mortician to glue their mouth shut (that is why I believe u have never seen a dead person in the coffin with either their mouth or eyes open)

Now to answer your question, the lady was struggling to breathe, that is why she died with her mouth open like that.
