All the bla bla bla by solar panel sellers in nigeria dey vex me all the time . I have never seen any solar powered street light last more than 6 months ,yet the sellers will tell you that it has 10 yrs lifespan ... Solar energy doesnt work in nigeria ,stop trying to deceive us. Awa eye don open

@op its mainly due to substandard equipment being imported into the country from china. Most of the solar panels, inverters and batteries being use are of poor quality. its cheap, but will not last.

it works. I am not a seller, but I use solar in my home and I don't use Nepa. One is that the stuffs they use for those street lights are substandard and most times, they end up being vandalized. The installers do a messy job just to minimize cost and maximize profit.
