President Buhari has ordered the closure of retail store giants, Shoprite and Next Cash ‘N’ Carry. The mega stores have been given a seven day ultimatum to correct their errors or face outright ban in country. The president’s stance was made public by the Nigerian Biosafety Management Agency, NBMA. The warning was handed out to representatives of the two superstores at a briefing in Abuja on Friday. divinehand2003: I don't think its the issue of bed belle. The fact is most of these countries think they are superior to Nigeria thereby they take laws into their hands. Remember, MTN did not listen to NCC until it turns to "Yam Pepper scatter scatter". DSTV too refused to slash their tarrif and if FG now react it will turn to something else. The simple fact is that S/A can't tolerate such from Nigerians. This is our country, they must be ready to obey the laws of the land. 2 Likes |
