Notables points in the Premier League games, last weekend
.
Last weekend was a week that brings good memory for some fans,as their clubs put in a mouth watering performance to always remember. To some other fans, they cant wait for this weekend to come in other to be able to put the agony of an epileptic performance of their clubs over the weekend behind them. There are a number of talking points from the games played over the weekend, but below are the notable points from last weekend’s games:

Antonio Conte is transforming Chelsea FC:
Antonio Conte’s Chelsea is indeed getting back their confidence. The way they humiliated Claudio Ranieri’s Leicester City, speaks volume to their resurgence. The three men’s defence introduced by Conte, with an extra legs in midfield, seems to be working well for Chelsea at the moment. And should they continue this way,I doubt if anyone will be able to stop them from finishing among the top four at the end of the season.

Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth may not fight relegation battle:
Bournemouth FC has already picked up some impressive results this season. They thumped Hull City this weekend at home. They scored 6 against unorganized Mike Phelan’s side. And should they continue in this spirit, they are much likely to avoid relegation battle towards the end of the season.

Clubs seem to have gotten Pep Guardiola tactics:
Manchester City started the 2016 premier league campaign with so much energy and tactics, that one was thinking that Pep has come to dominate the premier league the way he had dominated the game in other leagues he had functioned as a manager. But Ronald Koeman’s Everton side last weeked once again proved that Pep’s tiki-taka tactics is vincible,as both team settled for a 1-1 draw.

Stoke City got their first victory of the session:
Mark Hughes’s Stoke city recorded their first win of the season last weekend. They finally got a victory under their belt when they defeated David Moyes’ Sunderland last weekend. A brace from Joe Allen was enough for the Potters who are now in the 18th place;with 6 points from 8 games.

Baggies frustrated Pochettino’s side:
Tottenham Hotspur were on a high after their victory over Manchester City last weekend but they were held to a frustrating draw this weekend as West Brom stuck to their task and helped themselves to a point from this game. A late strike from Dele Alli gave Tottenham the point that keeps them in the 3 place in the points table.

West Ham gradually moving up the table:
Slaven Bilic’s West Ham side are gradually moving up the table. They picked up 4 points from the last two league games. After a draw against Boro, the Hammers managed to hold on to a 1-goal lead to take all three points from their trip to the Selhurst Park last weekend to help themselves into the 15th place in the points table.

Gunners are flying high:
Arsen Wenger’s men are in the form of their life as they prevailed in a 5-goal thriller at the Emirates against Swansea last weekend. Both teams were competitive on the night but Wenger’s side were the better side as they came out with all three points from that game.

Watford are gradually becoming a team to be reckon with this season:
Watford have started the season on a brighter note. They have picked up some important results. They continued their impressive campaign when they got the better of Karanka’s side with a solitary performance last weekend. A goal from Holebas lifted Watford into the first half of the table with the 10th place in the table, having accumulated 11 points from 8 games.

Southampton on the rise:
After a club record finished in the Premier League last season, the Saints have started the new season under a new manager in a confident manner and picked up all three points last weekend over Burnley. They are now in the 8 place in the table with 12 points from 8 games, with just a couple of points away from the European spots.
