Hi Nairalanders,

I decided to take some days off work so this weekend i would love to spend a greater part of it in the ancient city of Ibadan.

From Thursday to Sunday.

Please, where are the places of interest that I can visit while in Ibadan so as to make my holiday worthwhile?

Kindly offer practical suggestions. Thank you

UI has a beautiful zoo...if their lion is still alive you are in for a treat, the zoo minders will make you people chant "lion, lion, lion" and after a while you will hear a piece of absolute amazing-ness
...the return roar of the lion
Magical kiss
(trying to play it in my head now)

The area around PI hostel is beautiful, all green...the chapel at the hostel is sooooo peaceful and quiet, and the place filled with trees. You will love it if you like peace. The hostel is very basic ooo, to put it kindly...so stay where you wanna stay and just visit the chapel. There is also a ?seminary SS Peters and Paul, I think on the same road as PI ....seminaries are beautiful, the grounds I mean...so green, so peaceful
There is a small supermarket around that place....they have a plethora of ice cream....quite a nice store, I have forgotten the name though
Well, have a good time
