Often times, I see these two characters 4G & 4G LTE on the spec sheet of various phone models. Are they the same? Please I need some education.

I think they are the same. If you check a phone's spec u see NETWORK: GSM/WCDMA/LTE..... Gsm for edge, Wcdma for 3G and LTE for 4G

4G and LTE are the same.

In technical jargon, they are not the same. However, when it comes to phones, they are considered the same by phone manufacturers. You will more than likely see phones that say 4G LTE. Your phone will either show 4G (as my asus zenfone 2 does), or it will say LTE. LTE is pretty much a 4G technology. The same exact thing as it relates to phones, period!

up to 14Mbps. HSDPA is sometimes called 3.5G.
HSPA+(Evolved High-Speed Packet Access)
HSPA+ is an evolution HSPA(HSDPA&HSUPA). It is a
4G technology that allows download at a rate of
168Mbps.
4G LTE(Long Term Evolution)
LTE is a 4G communication standard that supports HD
video streaming, download speed is as high as
299.6Mbps.
