If you haven't seen this Mesut Özil's goal from yesterday night, then you are on a long thing!

Yesterday's Champions League match between English side, Arsenal and Bulgarian club, Ludogorets produced a contender for goal of the season courtesy of Arsenal's German midfielder Mesut Özil.

Mesut Ozil managed to make every Arsenal fan faint for a few seconds with seven sublime touches of a football on Tuesday evening.

With the Gunners falling 2-0 down against lowly Bulgarian side Ludogorets in the first 15 minutes of Arsenal’s Champions league group stage encounter, Ozil managed to cap off a spectacular comeback with a simply sublime solo strike.

Goals from Granit Xhaka and Olivier Giroud set up Arsenal on level with Ludogorets before half-time, and in the 87th minute, the German playmaker did this:

As beautiful as Ozil’s goal was, Arsenal boss Wenger couldn’t help but admit that, for a brief moment, he thought that the German was going to fluff his lines on the biggest stage.

‘I thought for a while he took too long to score, but at the end of the day, you have to say well done,’ Wenger said afterwards.

He added: ‘The great players make the right decisions. Mesut had enough skill to get that right.’
