The President,
The Governor of Ekiti State,
The Minister of Education
The registrar JAMB.

A CRY FOR EQUITY.

It's with great pain and heaviness of heart , that we write to all Nigerians.

It's a thing that saddens us all, that the Ministry of Education, NUC ET al has decided to be insouciance about our pain and plight.

We all picked our JAMB forms respectively with great joy and happiness, with the joy of fulfilling our dreams of becoming a Medical Practitioner, but it saddens us, that after, passing the JAMB, picking the ADMISSION SCREENING form, which we where made to pay twice for, then on the D day of the screening , the first thing we where told was, they won't be admitting for medicine, and we will be fixed for other courses like nursing, anatomy et al, just to be told again moments later that there won't be any admission into the college of medicine this year.
We all felt scammed and played because we couldn't understand
1 why JAMB would allow us apply for medicine in a school that wouldn't be admitting.
2 why a school that wouldn't be admitting Medicine and Surgery student decide to sell forms for Medicine and Surgery.
3 why it wasn't published before we paid for screening.

Though all schools reserve the rights to admit any students they want, but this is just pure organized crime, and this bellwether was set by our so called Nigerian IVVY leagues like UNILAG, UNILORIN et al, Notable mention is the UNILAG foundation programme.

So we are begging all citizens of Nigeria, who wants the growth of our Nation, and we are also calling on all human right activist, lawyers and everyone who can help.

Please help us get justice, getting back the money we used for registering ,travelling and accommodation wouldn't suffice, the time we spent can't be regained.

Please help us put a stop to all sorts of organized crime in our Government owned institutions.

Connection shouldn't be quintessential in studying medicine .
Medicine shouldn't just be for the rich.
We demand equity.

We know the good people of ekiti state aren't criminals , and all we want is a panacea to our current plight.

Signed
