For those of you who may not have known before, if you are a twitter member, you can tweet on twitter, directly from your GSM phone line, without going to twitter or going online and without internet connection. This is how to do that:
First of all, Twitter has a text message shortcode, which is 40404.
To tweet, simply type what you are tweeting and send it as a normal text message to that number and it will immediately appear on your twitter handle...on your timeline.
*NB:
(1) To check out all the things you can do with Twitter text messaging, send HELP to 40404.
(2) To quit, send STOP to 40404.
(3) Be aware that use of the shortcode itself is COMPLETELY FREE...just the same way TWITTER IS FREE. However, your GSM service provider will definitely charge you for text sending-their message/data rates apply.
