OK, if you are currently serving then I suggest you do the NIM. After service, you can then go for MBA.

NIM has almost zero professional status. Dont waste your time and money doing it. It will add practically nothing to your cv. Go for your MBA from a good institution, or if you must obtain peofessional qualification, ICAN seems to be the only widely recognized Nigerian professional body currently. Go for that.

Bro forget NIM and MBA. Use that money and invest in your business idea, you will be employing MBA graduates in a few years

NIM is a Professional Certificate while MBA is a professional degree. If you come from a non-management field like Sciences, Engineering et al, having an MBA is a wise decision, you would never regret, more so, it's a second degree. If you need Certification in Management, try CIPM. You can do it along with your MBA.

For HSE you can do it with ISPON, NEBOSH, IOSH, CIEH and other registered bodies. Unfortunately, all these institutes are not in SAED. Don't waste your money with one unregistered HSE institute. They are just there for your money.

Since you are serving now I advise you do NIM now at a subsidized fee and then you can reg for MBA after service. Nothing wrong with having both

When you mean MBA do you mean Masters in Business Administration? If yes! then ofcourse do your MBA in a good university (search for the top 4 universities and do it in one of them).

NIM (Nigerian Institute Of Management) has little no absolutely no standing again under professional recognized programmes.

Even ICAN is fast loosing its standing. People now opt for ACCA. The likes of CIBN, NIM, APCON, CISA, CIPM and other professional bodies are nothing but a bloody waste as even Nigeria companies look and accept them with no relevance. We are our BIGGEST enemies in this country.
