I think there should be someone who knows some form of English. Maybe not fluently but certainly a bit of English. I think you can also try checking their website.

I just checked their website about the expatriate visa law but it was in Arabic. Maybe you should call again or call the Nigerian embassy there. *if we have one*

I don't live in Oman but there is a thread about Qatar and UAE here in the travel section. You might get some advice there because the countries are similar.

Many people have been tricked only to get stuck here with odd jobs, some beaten, while women sexslavedd, some starved, some no pay.....I am not Tryingna make you scared, just telling you what I hear and see! Most of us professionals are a bit lucky cos we are employed by the govt.

But the whole arab zone is something else!! If your job is confirmed ed, na correct pay for you! Confirm your visa online and confirm the job!!

Make e nor be say them tell you sey ur job na Sales man but when u reach, e come be house boy.
Who nor go nor know!

Good to hear someone from Saudi, I have a Saudi job offer from a friend, pls what are the questions I should ask him, are there unskilled jobs for Nigerians there in Saudi apart from being professionals.

Thanks

Don't come to Saudi if your not a professional (Doctor, Medlab, Nurse, Engineer, Teacher)........Best advice!!...if you doubt, GOOGLE!
infact I am yet to find any Nigerians doing unskilled jobs except the Sudanese, Indians and pakistans.......I usually tell my colleagues that if nigerians do come here, they wont be able to condone the nonsense that occurs here).

Lots of Nigerians in Oman, infact u will find Nigerians in virtually all the Universities, hospitals and the Oil sector. Muscat is d place to be cos u have few Nigerians and expatriate outside Muscat. That said, minimum 700 - 800 Omani rial could be ok for a single and for a family depending on the size, minimum of 1000 Omani rial (1 naira - 960 Omani rial)excluding benefits.
