BREAKING: LASG Demolish House Extensions In Agege by arlomah: 4:45pm On Nov 15, 2016
In the early hours of this morning, residents of Market Street, Capitol Road, Agege felt the presence of officers of the Lagos State Government after house extensions on the street were demolished.
According to a resident, the extensions were demolished to accommodate the ongoing road and drainage constructions in the area.
Speaking further, the resident said, “the affected extensions are the ones close to the roads and also encroach the road which affects it from being motor-able. If they are not demolished, the construction will be affected so the extensions needed to make way for the roads.”

Very soon they will start shouting bad government this bad government that who doesn't care about the masses. The last time I checked, there's a number of metres one should give from road before errecting a building. In Nigeria, that's tale by moon light.

Where were the Lagos state town planning officials when those extensions were being constructed? All over Nigeria, people just erect all manners of structures from start to finish and after 25 years, the State or Federal government will suddenly wake up to realise that the structures are not supposed to be there. What a country!!!
