The major cause of this exchange rate issue is demand and supply and that is understandable.

Start charging CAT(cost added tax) @ one Naira per call, sms etc on all networks, MTN, AIRTEL, ETISALAT, WHATSAPP, TWITTER, etcetera. From this the Government can rake more than N100million per day. In every month, the Government will earn $30million just like that. This is legitimate and less controversial. Our CBN has got the idea. It should be working now.

We are in a recession - this means no money in the system.

When there is no money in the system people get hungry, laid off and the level of crime increases.

If injecting 29Bill into the system will give us a chance at getting rid of these issues and fast - why not take the chance.
