Hmmmm. Divorce divorce divorce...whew! For a while there, I toyed with the idea of marrying a Catholic. Reason: they do not believe in divorce. However, I know of an on going divorce case where both parties are Catholics. The world will soon end. My belief: I think divorce should be a no-no. If it must be considered at all, then it should be after all else fail. It should be where the two can no longer cohabit and all love is lost. This , I believe, is better than either of the party killing or maiming each other for life. 4 Likes |

Ceteris peribus I will never consider divorce. However, I will consider it if I see that my partner is making life miserable and unbearable for me. Partnership should be enjoyed and not endured. #life is too short to be in a miserable relationship!!! 3 Likes |

What was put together legally should be able to get dissolved just as easily and legally if all efforts to make it work have proved futile. Marriage is not a do-or-die affair, neither is it a prison. 8 Likes 1 Share |

Divorce for me starts from the mind. We tend to nurse insecurities about our partners in our minds before they get actualized. It is a no for me. But there are exceptions. 1 Like |

TV01: What I mean by that is, I do not want you to quote what your religion says. Because a lot of people just follow. What are you convinced about. If the views of the religion you adopt and your personal views are same, fine, but you never stated it - the view. 1 Like |

Personally, I don't see anything wrong in getting a divorce if there is need for it. For example if both parties don't want to be together, if there is any form of abuse either physically or emotionally, infidelity etc. Like someone mentioned marriage isn't a do or die affair. 4 Likes |
