Prologue

"Mom, what is the meaning of s3x?" I asked and stared up at my mother who had tied a scarf and ready to go to church.

"Will you shut up and go pick your Bible?" Mom shouted at me and eyed me. I had heard my classmates discussing about s3x and since it was a new word to me, I decided to ask mother.

I quickly went to my room and picked up my small Bible. I tied my scarf and put on my slippers.

So, let's get to meet me.

My name is Ekwa Mary. I am twelve years old. I am in J.S.S2 and I attend the school our church built. Precious seed international secondary school, Moniya, Ibadan. I am a pastor's daughter.

A fact that changed my life entirely, leaving me caged, helpless and then destroyed.
