The Government Unity College Birnin Kudu local government area of Jigawa State in the late hours of Thursday 24th Nov was on fire, according to a source from the college the fire started at about 9pm in the Night in a corner of the hostel, the Authorities was not notified on time before the fire spread round the hostel room forcing all the students to evacuate the room and raised an alarm, before the authorities could get to the hostel the fire has already done its usual: Burnt down everything in the hostel. Luckily only properties were damaged as no student was injured.
