Thirty thousand naira is not enough to buy a handful of toiletries in a nigeria supermarket. It is so demoralising, yet they wonder why they failed.

Planet of the apes.

Imagine. Even if yes we agree they didn't play well during the tournament, is N30,000 the kind of peanuts to pay a team which represented the country

Which kind of country is this? Damn!

Everything, you ppl blame the government.
Is there no organization in charge of football in this country? Now, what's their own contributions to the girls. The government flew them to the tournament, lodged them in hotels and flew them back.
If NFF cannot commit itself financially then what are those fat pigs doing in the Glass House? !
Can't they get their corrupted fat ass up and get sponsors for the team?
If you don't know the FG has no power to interfere in the activities of the NFF but we still blame the govt anyway when our teams don't deliver.

That useless red baret monk deserves a slap. Buhari's administration will ruin sports in Nigeria. Oya take am!

I'm sure you're just a kid.
Is the Minister of Sport NFF President?

Do you know the number of Associations under the Sport Ministry?

And each one of them has a President,
They're also affiliated to Some World Sport Body which makes their activities independent.
In other countries the Associations are in responsible for all these finances the FG is making

Its a pity how our female footballers are mistreated in dis country. D males get huge bonuses for goals scored, get bigger match allowances, get more respect too. But d ladies r treated like poo. Too bad.

So basically the country deserves the leaders it gets, fair point, but that doesn't mean people should not speak out against bad leadership. It's our responsibility to do so and I choose to exercise that right.

This is madness of the highest degree..
The girls are still at the u17 level
How much motivation would 30000 give them for the higher categories..most especially in this recession..
Let me just call their outing a percieved all expense paid tour to papua new guinea by the Nff.. mental cases.

10k for transport can barely take you from PH to Lagos and back. Then stay in hotel and feeding for 1 week will take the remaining 20k. What is 30k for representing the country? And what is more annoying is all the fat cats will be collecting money with many zeros in it

you sound so inconsiderate... Haba! Since the history of football in Nigeria, I have never heard of this meagre pay of 30k..The girls tried they won 2 out of 3 matches played, it was not a woeful outing. Nigeria needs a revival

You're missing the point.
When things are bad, let's know who exactly to criticize. Not just shouting FG everytime.
Let's know where to draw the line of apportioning blame

What about the president of all the Associations?

Wickedness of the highest order. When this fools travel under the excuse of going to support this girls spending millions of NAIRA in Foreign hotels. How much is 30,000 naira. Must we only appreciate our sport men when they win.
Only a third world nation can do that and that's the reason for our backwardness.
