Why Are Men Always At The Back In Choir Settings? by Ojeniran95: 7:58am On Nov 27, 2016 |
I've always notice that in church Men choirs are always seated at the back of their female colleague choir or even during their singing time men are always positioned at the back. Have anyone noticed? Is there any reason for that?

They're arranged according to their "gogorogo" (height). Most often than not men are of higher height. In the choir, arrangement is also made according to singing voice parts. Women sing auto, soprano, etc, while men with deep voice (bass) are placed behind for better melody. Ladies first and attraction also come to play. 2 Likes |

emrain: The arrangement isn't because of height, it is done according to the parts they sing. In classical choirs, they are arranged thus: soprano(front and usually ladies), Alto(middle and usually made up of ladies too) and then Tenor and bass( third and last rows, and they are usually made up of men) 1 Like |
