I disgree with put off data thing.
He's right sweetie, switch off data when you're not browsing and watch your battery charge life double or, switch off data when you desperately need your battery to last a while longer

Sodia switch over from animated themes or wallpapers to non animated ones.

Uninstall Facebook Mobile App
Use one browser.
Put your phone on eco mode. Enable whitelist for only frequently used apps. Eg WhatsApp, messenger, mail.
Get a gionee M5 or M6 plus lol
