Should passengers continue to have faith in Arik Air? We guess not, after series of reports of 'Cancelled flights' and 'Suspended Operations'. A few weeks ago, in September, reports filtered the air that passengers of Arik Air who had plans to travel were left stranded as the airline cancelled all its flights pending approval of its aircraft documentation related to insurance renewal.

Today, the case was not different. Passengers flying to Uyo from Abuja were also left stranded by the airline. A flight for 11am was moved to 2:30pm then to 5:30pm.

Boarding was finally announced afterwards. 25 minutes into the flight, the aircraft made a turn back to Abuja, with reasons that the aircraft cannot land in Akwa Ibom State International Airport, Uyo.

No further reasons or explanation has been given by the operators and this leaves us wondering if Nigerians should still have faith in Arik Air!

Interesting.

If a flight makes a U-Turn mid Air to land somewhere else, it is usually for the safety of the passengers. So, these passengers should be grateful that they are alive, and with their loved ones.
