That's not true... I make use of the Xiaomi redmi note 4 3gb ram mediatek processor version and I haven't experienced any form of battery drain since I started using it..

I'm sorry, but I have never witnessed this overheating ish with the MTK devices I have used. Infact, it is even my G3 S that is snapdragon that gets really hot upon high usage.

Or are there two types of MTK

No ma there are no two types but it depends on the particular model of d mtk chipset...... I also use mtk device tecno l8...... Heating in snapdragon is common in the snapdragon 810 chipset....

You are talking about the best processor/chipset in the world right now. I bought my Tecno Boom J8 because of Mediatek processors that Tecno uses in all its phones.
