For some reasons best known to Tecno, the tech giant who’s the heart throb of most African smartphone users, they’ve decided to make the launch of their latest smartphone release I.e. Tecno W5 Lite “noiseless”. The device is almost the same with the normal Tecno W5, only a slight hardware and software improvements brought about the birth of this jewel.

As usual, Tecno didn’t give us the benefit of the doubt as the Tecno W5 Lite comes with with a 1gb ram, a cramps 1.3GHZ processor and an internal storage of 16gb[seems no different from Tecno w3]. As it is with Tecno as of late, the device comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and a dual sim support. Reports about the exact camera spec are still sketchy[I’ll update them later in the day].I personally believe making a full list of this phone’s spec is a total waste of time as Tecno didn’t give me much inspiration to do something worthwhile for this device but for the sake of the Tecno fan boys, I’ll tell you this, this device is not different from any other low end device out there, the only selling point to this is the 3000mAh battery which is fair enough.

Apart from the battery size, I think Tecno is trying to drag us back to 2013 with the remainder of the specifications. Tecno W5 Lite can be gotten for as low as N38,000 in the Nigerian mobile stores, Ksh 12,500 in Kenya and ghc 500 in Ghana.
