HBO To Produce Dr. Dre And Jimmy Iovine Documentary by WanaG(m): 9:48pm On Dec 10, 2016
A four-part documentary on Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine, chronicling their partnerhsip and their impact on entertainment is coming to HBO.

The series is set to be titled The Defiant Ones, and will be directed by Menace II Society director, Allen Hughes. Hughes had filmed Dre and Iovine over three years for the documentary.

HBO's Programming President Casey Bloys said in a statement: "The Defiant Ones has everything you expect in a great story – drama and humor, tragedy and triumph. Allen Hughes takes you on a journey through some of the most important flash points of popular culture, and I'm delighted we can bring this unforgettable saga to our viewers."
