Photo Editing Apps Should Be Banned by Vheektory98(f): 12:13am On Dec 12, 2016
It is highly appaling that majority of our youth have lost their sanity and sense of moral value due to the influence of social media but what baffles me the most is the wreckless use of this media. Youth most especially the female. They use this platform to display unclad pictures so as to get the highest amount of likes and comments. All in the name of taking pictures they distort their legs as polio patients and use weird "snapchat filters" to enhance their photos to the extent of using animal-like features and floral bands. The bottom line is, the creation of these so called editing apps have destroyed the self esteem of our youths. Making them to believe that true beauty lies in the quality of their selfies which to a large extent is causing idleness amongst our youth as they spend most of their time taking self portrait popularly known as "selfies" to update their social media status. The earlier we begin to realise the irrelevancies in all these activities, the better for this generation

+1 like for identifying the trend as a problem. But those apps are not the cause; they only give vent to expressions of low self-esteem. If there's anything to thank them for, it is that they've helped us identify the problem.

This comment has a sexist tone. You may want to reword it to make the right point.
