The Portugal and Real Madrid forward won the poll made up of 173 journalists worldwide to take home France Football Magazine's coveted award. In doing so he beat the likes of Lionel Messi of Barcelona, Antoine Griezmann of Atletico Madrid and Luis Suarez of Barcelona who finished second, third and fourth respectively.
Neymar was in a surprised fifth position after failing yet again to capture the Ballon d'Or and it begs the question, what should he do to win it?
