Leonora Osato Osaigbovo Short Fiction Award encourages gifted, emerging writers, with talent and promise in Benin City, Edo state. Now, in its third year, we are looking forward to receive short fiction submissions of 3,000 - 5,000 words in length. The stories should be engaging and have moral emphasis.

1st place ₦ 10,000
2nd place ₦ 5,000
3rd place ₦ 3,000

Submission Guidelines:
No fee is required.
Copyright and all other rights of the story remains property of the author.
The work can be unpublished, or published; but must be the original work of the participant.
Eligible for writers aged 16 and above.
Submissions should have story title, author's name and contact number.
Submissions should be sent to thelooaward@gmail.com.
Submissions will be accepted until 6pm, 17th December 2016.

The winning authors will be informed on December 22nd 2016. Award ceremony will take place on Monday, 26th December 2016.
